House of Jewelz
Nigerian Dwarf Goats

Our Hobby Farm
House of Jewelz is a small hobby farm located in Kendall, NY where our Nigerian Dwarf Goats are treated like family. All of our goats are ADGA registered and several are dual registered with AGS. Our goats are fed a locally milled organic feed in addition to local quality hay, and free access to kelp mineral. Basically, they are my babies and I enjoy spoiling them. Our kids are a testament that dam raised does not necessarily mean a shy kid. Our kids are worked and played with numerous times a day to ensure they learn that humans are AWESOME!

Our Story
Local Family Farm
Back in 2017 my husband and I made the move north from Tennessee (although we still have strong ties with Southwestern VA) to Kendall, New York. Kendall is a small farming community located between Rochester & Buffalo up along Lake Ontario. We fell in love with the potential of our home which was situated on 8 acres of farmland surrounded by corn fields and apple orchards and couldn't wait to get started with our hobby farm. As mentioned, we traveled north with our 5 chickens, 2 dogs, and 3 cats. Our flock quickly grew, but something was missing.

After researching and researching to find the perfect addition to our farm, I discovered Nigerian Dwarf Goats. I loved their small stature and hearty milk production opportunities (My husband and I are both unable to drink cow's milk due to digestive issues but goats milk has been a blessing so I can have a glass of milk once again.) It was with great excitement we welcomed our first 2 girls onto the farm...Sweet Pea & Cricket! I was smitten!!! Within a few months, Selene joined our family. I've always loved animals and even do dog training, but there was something about the NDG that captured my heart.

The next year, goat math came into play so we welcomed Sassafras and Theia into our family. Of course, you can't have goats milk without breeding, so that fall we added MikeMikeMike and a wether, Mason. The next fall was our first breeding season and we wanted to start small so I bred Selene and Sweet Pea. Selene gave us quads...Tippy, Taz-a-raz, Ayala, and Tiny Dream. Sweet Pea blessed us with baby Zeus.

This brings us to current day. This fall we opted to breed, Selene, Sweet Pea, Sassafras, and Theia to our boy MikeMikeMike! Read more about their pedigrees on the "Our Girls" and "The Boys" pages. Check out due dates and available kids on our kidding schedule.
